Project | 01 Yue Opera Town

With the merge of Ministry of Culture and Ministry of Tourism in China in 2018, cultural tourism has become a buzzword in the country. Yue Opera Town is one of the most prominent projects. Yue Opera, listed as China's intangible cultural heritage in 2006, is one of the most popular traditional Chinese operas. The Yue Opera Town aims to preserve and promote Yue Opera and create opportunities for international arts and cultural exchange. My role is to oversee the international programming with a focus on intangible cultural heritage and audience engagement/development.
